Ifa is an emerging Indonesian-Australian artist, born and bred in Darwin / Garramilla. With a distinct passion for character design and storytelling, she is known online for her personified characters of the Aussie cities.Much inspired by her own experiences and the media she consumes, Ifa wishes to capture the magic in the mundane of Australia’s unique lifestyle and culture.Follow her art journey on Instagram: @eskrimko

First collaborative mural project with three other emerging artists, Amber, Bethany and Jarrah, under the guidance of local mural artist Caleb. The mural can be viewed inside the Casuarina Library.

Regional Scribes Anthology: You Together

First anthology through the Regional Scribes program. Featured work, Notes To Self, responds to the monthly theme, “Empowerment” which serves as a reminder to Ifa as an artist and her step into her writing journey.

Solo Exhibition: Into the Top End

First solo exhibition through the NXT Gen ARTS grant initiative. Into the Top End introduces the main characters of Ifa’s personified city series, Darwin and Palmerston.

CITYLIFE Platform Lightboxes Youth Week Exhibition

First public debut of Ifa’s characters. Featured artwork depicts the city personifications of Darwin and Palmerston eating iconic Top End market foods, laksa and satay. It was displayed at the Dragonfly Carpark at Smith Street.
